Discover with us for two magical places, visit the beautiful but indomitable Patagonia, begin the beautiful city of Puerto Aysen with  the magic Glaciar San Rafael, the Queulat National Park and all North Patagonia welcome us, we will continue to Torres del Paine where we can see the wide variety of flora and fauna that abounds with amazing views of the Paine horns. Then we will travel to the navel of the world, Easter Island located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean we invite you to discover its wonders as Ahu Akivi or Temple of Orongo.

Day 1 – Santiago – Chile – City tour.

Our staff will be waiting for you at the airport (SCL) and then we will go to your hotel for your check in and time to get rest. The tour begins in the afternoon at Providencia, from there our next stop is Plaza Italia also known as Plaza Baquedano, a very important spot for celebrations and  public manifestations.  We will head towards Plaza de la Ciudadania and the  Moneda palace which is the Chilean government building  and its located at Santiago’s downtown, by walking we will reach Plaza de Armas which is a square built at the very heart of the city. This place is bustling with activities, street painters and much more. Here in Plaza de Armas we will find the city’s Cathedral, our trip will continue after the van pick us up here. The next highlight is San Cristobal hill which is the tallest hill in Santiago having 710 meters and at the top Virgin Mary and its viewpoint offers an amazing spot to see the whole city. Later, we will go to the business district, a neighborhood where the Titanium tower is located and also the Costanera center, the tallest building of South America having 198 meters of altitude and 82 floors. The journey will end at your hotel where we will organize the details of the upcoming day.

Day 2 – Santiago – Balmaceda – Puerto Chacabuco.

Breakfast in our Hotel, pick up an transfer to national Airport where we catch the flight to Balmaceda and Coyhaique, capital of the Northern Chilean Patagonia Reception in the Balmaceda airport, begins the journey through the Patagonian pampas of this region. Among the usual concourse coirones spot pairs of geese and flocks of ibises the look was also surprised with the vast remains of burned over forests are vestiges of colonization of Aysen.

In approximately 45 minutes to reach Coyhaique. After a brief visit to the city center, the trip continues along the beautiful valley of the Simpson River to Puerto Chacabuco And to our Hotel

Day 3 – San Rafael Glacier Navigation – Puerto Chacabuco.

An unforgettable experience is the journey through the southern fjords aboard the Patagonia Express catamaran to meet Laguna San Rafael. Navigation starts at 7 am and during this journey of about 6 hours senses will rejoice with the transparency of the waters, the majesty of the Andes Mountains wrapped in lush forests and the play of light that interwoven through the clouds. Sometimes even be possible encounters with playful dolphins.

Sailing through the various channels to finally enter the Rio Iceberg to Laguna San Rafael, home to a millenarian glacier order to the lands of the world After staying about 2 hours, the catamaran returns to Chacabuco port, arriving around 21:30 hrs. Hotel.

Day 4 – Puerto Chacabuco – Queulat National Park.

At 8:00 AM.  We head north to Queulat National Reserve.  During the tour you can enjoy the beautiful landscape of mountains, rivers and waterfalls, with stops at the scenic overlooks of Torres Lake, Cisnes River  and Piedra del Gato.  A little later we make a stop at the stunning Bosque Encantado (Enchanted Forest) and Padre Garcia Waterfalls.  In Queulat Reserve we will be able to take an easy walk to Tempanos Lagoon from which you can enjoy the spectacular Queulat Hanging Glacier.  Enjoy a delicious box lunch in the park.  Return trip to Puerto Aysén.

Day 5 – Puerto Chacabuco -Balmaceda -Puerto Natales.

After breakfast, transfer by bus to Balmaceda airport, Flight to Punta Arenas Upon arrival at Presidente Carlos Ibáñez del Campo International Airport our staff will greet us and will drive us to Punta Arenas, one of the southernmost cities of the world. At the city our first stop will be the Plaza de Armas and the Indio Patagonico monument, the tradition indicates that after touching the finger the Indio (aboriginal) will return to Patagonia someday. We will go to La Cruz hill where we will have a panoramic view of the city, the Magallanes strait next to the Tierra del Fuego Island. The graveyard is another highlight to be visited and you will notice Yugoslavian influence on it, from here we will go and visit the Ovejero Patagonico (Patagonian sheperd) monument an icon from the region. We will travel to Puerto Natales and we will be transferred to the hotel upon arrival.

Day 6 – Parque Nacional Torres del Paine

After breakfast at the hotel we begin one of the most importants excursions from the trip, we start our journey at Torres del Paine visiting the Milodon’s cave road, this herbivorous mammal lived in this area more than 12000 years ago. We continue our trip visiting the Amarga lake which has white shores due to the salt and here we can find a variety of birds, specially flamingos.  We will admire the Macizos del Paine here and we can find Guanacos in this place which is a mammal related to the Llamas. The Nordenskjold lake has a viewpoint which we will visit and from here we can see the Almirante Nieto mountain and the Cuernos del Paine (Paine horns) Next stop is the Pehoe lake, a turquoise color lake which has its colors due to the glacier’s sediments, we will walk towards Salto Grande where we will have incredible views of the Monte Paine Grande, Los Cuernos del Paine, the French Glacier and the Monte Paine Chico also known as Almirante Nieto. We will enjoy a well-deserved lunch here while having a beautiful view of the Macizos (peaks)As we resume our trekking, if we are lucky enough, we will see some of the huemul that dwell in this area. We will go through beautiful woods, home of woodpeckers and from here we will reach the shores of the Grey lake. Our next stop is the viewpoint looking at the Grey glacier and we will reach this point on our trip as our last highlight. We return to the entrance and then we go to Puerto Natales to our hotel.

Day 7 – Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers

After breakfast at our hotel we will go onboard our vessel that will take us through the Ultima Esperanza fjord, we will see the local wildlife such as cormorants and sea lions in our trip to Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers. Arrival is at the Puerto Toro dock and from here we will walk for about 1000 meters throughout the woods and the shores of the lake until we arrive at the front of Serrano glacier with enough time to take photos. We embark again so we can go to the Balmaceda glacier, located in the Balmaceda mountain (2.222 mts)Lunch will take place at Estancia Perales where we will enjoy a typical Patagonian lunch with meat from the area. We will be back at Puerto Natales dock at around 17:30 and from here we will go back to the hotel with the regular service from the ship. No tours will take place afterwards so we suggest you to enjoy the sunset from the city’s promenade right in front of the Seno de Ultima Esperanza.

Day 8 – Puerto Natales – Perito Moreno (extenuating day)

After breakfast at the hotel we begin a full day excursion to Perito Moreno glacier. This excursion will take us to the Perito Moreno walkways. From El Calafate we will go from the southern part of the Argentinian lake, passing by the Bahia Redonda, a place where we can find a variety of wildlife. The first 40 kilometers are of Patagonian steppe and then we enter the Los Glaciares national park, where we can find typical vegetation and

Wildlife from this area such as ñires, lengas, Coigues and some others such as the Calafate, Notros and canelos As we arrive at the glacier we will head towards the main balcony so we can go through the walkways freely until the meeting time organized in advance with the guide. The walkways offer different views from the glacier allowing us to admire this incredible natural spectacle. You will have the choice to navigate towards the huge walls of the Perito Moreno. At 16:00 we begin our return to Puerto Natales and we arrive at the hotel at 23:00.

Day 9 – Puerto Natales – Punta Arenas – City Tour for the city.

Breakfast at the hotel At the appointed times transfer by bus to Punta Arenas one of the world’s southernmost city Arrive and transfer to our Hotel. in the afternoon visit the city of Punta Arenas where we will visit its main attractions which include the monument to the shepherd, the viewpoint of the Cross and cathedral hill, then we will go to our Hotel.

Day 10 – Navigation Penguin Magdalena & Marta Islands – Santiago.

Breakfast in our Hotel. The departure to this excursion will be from the offices of the sailing company. In this excursion we will visit the Magdalena Island where we can see a large penguin colony; and the Marta Island, place to see a small colony of sea lions.

Marta Island holds more than 1500 sea lions, cormorants, skuas, austral seagulls Antarctic pigeons, among others. The Magdalena Island allows us to interact with one of the biggest Magellan penguin colony, passing the 200.000 birds. We can see among other birds, skuas, rocky cormorants, Dominican seagulls, etc. Return to Punta Arenas, arrive to the city (12:00 hrs) In the afternoon pick up and transfer to Punta Arenas Airport, flight back to Santiago. Arrive and reception for our staff, transfer to your Hotel.

Day 11 – Santiago – Easter island – Ahu Akivi tour.

Breakfast at our hotel, we will be transferred to the airport in time for our flight to Easter island (5 hours flight) Upon arrival we will receive a flower collar and then we will go to our hotel. At 15:00 approximately we begin our tour from Hanga Roa visiting Ahu Vinapu, archaeological site which was utilized by the inhabitants in the 1200 AC and includes 3 Ahu. The first includes 6 knocked down Moais which are painted red color, the second has a supposedly feminine moai which had 2 heads and the third one, the oldest, has only removed stones. We continue our way to Puna Pau quarry, an archeological 

Site east of Hanga Roa in a small crater of red scoria from which the people obtained the Pukao (topknot or headdress) that went on the top of the Moais. We go next to Ahu Akivi, which in 1960 was the first scientifically restored Ahu. The platform has 7 Moais and its one of the few located at center of island, the statues face the rising sun. The legend says this 7 Moais represent 7 young explorers sent before the arrival of Hotu Matua’s to explore the island. Our adventure will continue next at the Te Pahu cavern, a place used as shelter when conflict arose. We begin the return to Hanga Roa, total time 3,5 hours.

Day 12 – Easter Island full day

Departure from Hanga Roa is at 09:30 and we will head towards the south east and north east coast from the island to visit the Ahu Vaihu temple located 10 kms away from Hanga Roa, it has 8 Moais and 8 Pukao scattered in the vicinity in a well crafted platform. The next stop is Ahu Akahanga also called the ‘Kings platform’ legend says that the tomb of Hotu Matua’a is nearby this place. Here we can find 4 platforms, 12 Moai, 8 Pukao and inside this Ahu we will find one of the most well preserved villages from the island.The road leads next to Ahu Tongariki, the island’s biggest Ahu having 15 Moai. We can see next Ahu Te Pito Kura which has the largest statue from the island, the Moai Paro (10 meters height and 85 tons having a Pukao

of 11,5 tons) Right next to this ceremonial temple we will find a huge spherical stone called the Navel of the world (Te Pito o Te Henua) which is said that was brought to the island by Hotu Matua’a in his vessel. The next highlight is Ahu Nau Nau, a temple of complex architecture due to its different levels. Here we will find 5 moai with Pukao that have petroglyphs in their backs. From here we will go to Rano Raraku, volcano and 

quarry where most of the statues where crafted using the volcanic stone from its skirts. More than 400 moai are here in different levels of chiseling. The adventure ends at Anakena, a white sand beach chosen for the arrival of the Ariki Hotu Matua’a and his sister Avareipua. We return to Hanga Roa, total time of this tour is 8 hours.

Day 13

Breakfast at the hotel We will visit Rano Kau volcano which is being said it gave birth to island, from here we will head to the city and sacred ceremony temple of Orongo, the navel of the world and Vinapu area which has interesting walls, the Anaka Tai Tangata cave famous due to its old paintings. We will go back at 14:00 and no tours will take place in the evening. We suggest you to take the dinner show at Te Ra’ai restaurant for you to see a unique sample of the Rapa Nui culture.

A unique spectacle of the typical food from the island where we will witness the preparation of one of the most elaborated dishes called ‘Curanto’ where cooking takes

Place with hot stones. Different kinds of meat and fish are cooked this way while we are told stories and legends from the Polynesia origins. Finally we will enjoy dinner with a show of Polynesia dance and music. 20 people in its stage between dancers and musicians will transport us back in time for us to see the eastern island culture through their dance.

Day 14 – Eastern Island – Santiago

Breakfast at the hotel, we will go to the Mataveri airport and we will receive flower collars in our farewell. Flight is 5 hours and our driver will be waiting for us  at the airport so he can drive us to the hotel.

Day 15 – Santiago – Concha y Toro – Santiago

A classical tour within Santiago, after a 40 minutes ride we will reach Pirque to Concha y Toro wine yards. The tour begins at Don Melchor square where a guide will be waiting for us and greets us with a glass of wine. With glass in hand we will walk in this old park going back in time by looking at the Pirque manor, house of the Concha y Toro family and this is the place where the biggest Chilean wine company begun. We will learn about all the process, cultural and technological developings of the Pirque wineyards in this tour, while enjoying a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon.
